Kristen Hanley Cardozo is a writer and instructor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She’s had bylines at The Toast, Catapult, Electric Literature, and The Establishment, among others.

She received her PhD in English literature, with a designated emphasis in Feminist Theory, from the University of California, Davis. Her work focuses on race, gender, animality, and genre forms.
